=^.^=

After a very long day, I have finally got a kitty. Not the kitten that I originally intended to get, but I love this lil' guy so much so all is well. So much bull happened today though. Let me give you a recap.
I woke up at 8 because I was supposed to leave at 9 to go pick up the kitten from the guy in Auburn (mentioned in my previous blog post). I texted him at 8:30 asking for his address but I got no response. I was scared to go alone just because of how shady this guy was being so I had my friend Dallas and 3 of his friends meet me at my apartment so they could come with to pick up the cat. They got here, all ready to go, but I still get no response from the guy. Hours pass by, I'm texting and calling this guy off the hook, but he didn't even answer until after noon, in which the call dropped or his phone died or something but after that his phone kept going straight to voicemail and I still haven't heard back from him.
I was so upset and I was looking up cats left and right on Craigslist. I went so far to even post a 'cat wanted' ad, which was responded to rather quickly, and resulted in me getting my new kitty!
He's a boy, about twelve weeks old, and medium haired. He's absolutely precious. We still haven't chose a name for him, but I think we're leaning towards Omen.
Even though things were all over the place everything worked out in the end.

What a day.

Today has been pretty hectic and stressful and I need to blow off some steam on something/someone other than Jesse, so I figured blogging about it would be a good option.
It started off alright, considering the fact that I was just hanging out in bed and creating this blog. Things took a turn for the worse when my dog jumped up into my bed and decided to just stand there and piss in the bed and look at me. I should have taken that as some sort of omen of the impending doom (which really wasn't so bad in retrospect- I'm just a big baby).
I picked up my friend Julia and she was supposed to help me finish moving/cleaning the old apartment and also come with me to Auburn to pick up a kitten I found on Craigslist (buddy system, yo. You never know who's a Craigslist murderer). We also had to drop some furniture off at the thrift store, which Jesse was supposed to help me out with a week ago, and kept pushing the date forward until the last possible day (that being today), a morning in which he coincidentally set his alarm for the wrong time and all the responsibility landed on me. Which I guess I can't get mad at him for since it was an accident (but I have been mad at him all day and he heard more than an earful, trust me), but it sucked to have that weight on my shoulders, on top of cleaning the apartment and everything- an apartment whose lease is up tomorrow.
Then I realized that though the keys to the apartment have to be turned in before midnight on the eighth, the office of the apartments is closed on the eighth. So how am I supposed to turn them in? There also is no drop box for the apartments, they got rid of that since the drop box was broken into. It's a five star area, let me tell you. Except not at all. So I still don't know what's going on with all that bullshit.
The kitten guy told me that he would be off of work at seven so I was trying to get everything done before then. Then he doesn't end up texting me until eight. The kitten is an hour away, there was no way in hell I was going to drive an hour to go meet someone who I don't know late at night. I'm not that dumb. So what I had been waiting on all day ended up not even happening which totally blows and I have to go tomorrow morning instead. It was just another thing to add to the horrible mishaps that had been ensuing the entire day.
Jesse and I went back to the apartments later to finish cleaning and shit and we got almost everything done but then realized we didn't have a box for the rest of the dishes so I have to go back again tomorrow to finish getting everything there plus turn in the keys. I don't know, I just absolutely hate when all of the responsibility falls onto my shoulders unexpectedly. It really stresses me out doing things of this particular sort last minute.
Oh, and I also dropped my iPhone today. The first day my iPhone does not have a case on and I drop it and scratch two corners of it. Seriously, the world hates me. I feel like I have the worst luck. When shit like this happens to me I almost laugh because this is the kind of shit that always happens and I'm an idiot for not having expected it
I'm also on a diet and I really want McDonald's but I can't have it and it's pissing me off. I'm literally going through withdrawals, I was crying earlier because I wanted it so bad and I was having really horrible mood swings. I caved last night and ate over 1,000 calories worth of McDonald's in one sitting when I'm only supposed to be eating 870 a day. I more than doubled my caloric intake because of my cravings. I'm debating whether or not my ideal body is worth what its going to take to get to that point and maintain that figure. I just love food so damn much. Anyways, I'll post pictures of my cute ass kitten tomorrow. If the person I'm adopting it from doesn't murder and chop me up first.

Makeup.

Here's my makeup routine twitter-followers have been asking for for AGES. It's not the best and I'm no makeup artist but I made it anyways.

Prior to putting on my makeup I was my face with Clean & Clear Deep Action Exfoliating scrub.
Then I use a pea sized amount of Lush's Ocean Salt scrub. I also use a small amount of a creamy prescribed face wash called Plexion. Then I moisturize with Olay Oil Free moisturizer.

Cosmetics:
-Maybelline Cover Stick Corrector concealer
-Make Up Forever Mat Velvet foundation in 20
-Studio Gear Dual Identity Wet/Dry powder in Linen
-Maybelline FitMe! blush in Deep Rose
-Revlon Color Stay Eyeliner in Brown Black (used for eyebrows)
-Maybelline The Colossal Volum' Express mascara in Glam Black

Hi.

Hey guys! So, after a nearly year long hiatus from the blogging world, alas, I have returned. I'm pretty excited about this format because it's actually more of a 'blogging' website, instead of a website revolving around 'reblogs' and 'likes'. I honestly felt awkward posting personal posts on Tumblr. WHATEVER. Anyways, if you don't know what I've been up to lately, here are a few things that I have done in the past, I don't know, let's say six months. I'll give you a rundown:

Marley
  • JANUARY: I moved in with Jesse, to a town called Everett in Washington state. We drove all the way from Illinois, pretty crazy. I also got my job transferred to a theater in the area. I got two rats named Narcissa and Science, had a huge allergic reaction to them, and ended up being horribly sick for a month. I dropped 15 pounds due to being sick which was pretty awesome, I guess. Until I got better and gained it all back. That part sucked. So we got rid of the rats to some weird creepy lady and I was super sad so then we got this crazy shithead chihuahua named Hiccup. She's cute, though. Kind of.
  • FEBRUARY:  Jesse and I had our one year anniversary <3___<3 I don't remember anything else that happened that month. Life was rather monotonous.
  • MARCH: I don't really remember March either, up until the end when I was fortunate enough to go to both Florida AND go back to Illinois and visit family. Oh, and Jesse turned twenty. Whatever.
  • APRIL: I flew back to Washington u____u but I also started school finally. It was interesting going from semesters to quarters. You quarter-systemers are pretty lame for having school run all the way until June but other than that, I have no complaints. Ten week courses are pretty rad compared to sixteen week courses.
  • MAY: I only remember a few things from this month: my parents birthdays on May 5th and 6th. I know two birthdays would constitute a couple, but a third thing happened: my beloved dog Marley passed away on my dad's birthday (the 5th). I was, and remain, devastated.
  • JUNE: This was a fun month. My dad, stepmom, and grandparents came into town because they were going on an Alaskan cruise, so Jesse and I spend a day and a night with them in Seattle. I also had my nineteenth birthday. This was also the last full month of our old lease so Jesse and I got to apartment hunt for the first time together. We found a super cute apartment in a little ocean town called Mukilteo, from which I am writing this post at this very moment. With my birthday money and a bit of money we had both saved, Jesse and I were able to purchase a bunch of cool stuff from Ikea to add some hominess to our new place.
And now we're back to the present. Me blogging half naked in bed really craving a grapefruit. My plans for the day are to dump off some old furniture at a thrift store (I'm a do-gooder), clean my old apartment, and hopefully get a new kitten! I'll update you guys with which cat I get once it's all figured out.
I apologize if this blog post is filled with information you already know (since the link to this blog will only be posted on social networks of which I am already affiliated and active with) but, I don't know, I felt this would be a good first post.
Au revoir!
